Zanarkand - is the city that never sleeps. It is located at the northern part of Spira. All summoners and guardians travel to the Zanarkand Ruins in hope to obtain the final aeon and destroy Sin. It was destroyed about a thousand years ago by Sin. There are two Zanarkands in Final Fantasy X. One is the ruins of what Sin had left, and Tidus' Zanarkand, his hometown. His Zanarkand was known as the city that never sleeps.
Al Bhed Territory - is basically just a pile of rubble. During the game Tidus is stranded there and eventually he finds Rikku and agrees to help her and her tribe salvage a sunken ship. After a long day of hard work, Sin appears and attacks the Al Bhed ship and we don't see Rikku until later on in the game.
Isle of Besaid - is a small village at the southern part of Spira. It is the home of the Lady Yuna and home of the Besaid Aurochs the local blitzball team. One of the temples is located there. It is at the Besaid Temple at which you can gain the aeon Valefor.
Kilika - is much like Besaid in appearance and it is small and is not far off from Besaid. The only diffrence between these two villages is that Kilika is built on water and Besaid is built on the ground with small huts. Yuna performs her first sending (the guidance for the dead) at Kilika. Kilika is the home of the Kilika Beasts, a popular blitzball team. There you can gain the aeon Ifrit.
Luca - looks like a big giant city. Although without the great one and only blitzball stadium it would appear to be the size of Kilika or Besaid. It is guarded by the Crusaders, the ones in charge of drawing Sin back. Luca is surrounded by water and can only be reached by ship.
Mi'ihen Highroad - is just a small road leading to an Inn. The Inn belongs to Rin the Al Bhed. The road has been there for centurys and it is a long journey if you go by foot. It is difficult to journey by foot because of the numerous fiends. To speed up the process you can always rent a chocobo, it makes things run much smoothly with no fiends!
Djose - is another place where a summoner can obtain an aeon. Whenever a summoner successefully prays to the fayth, they obtain the aeon Ixion.
