Temples

Throught Final Fantasy X, Yuna will be required to travel all throughout Spira and visit all the temples. At the temples summoners pray to the fayth and hope for a way to defeat Sin. If that prayer is strong enough, the fayth will bless the summoner by allowing the summoner to obtain an aeon. Below are the following temples that Yuna can visit and listed is each aeon that can be required. Each temple has a "Cloister of Trials" which summoners must solve. It is a maze that uses spheres to get to the Chamber of the Fayth. It is one of the many challenges of a summoner. Each temple uses diffrent spheres for their Cloister of Trials. For instance, when you enter the Trials the spheres are labeled diffrently, i.e Besaid Sphere, or Kilika Sphere. Also during the Cloister of Trials there are hidden doors that lead to an important item that will help Yuna obtain a secret aeon later on in the game. It is important to acquire all the items or else Yuna will not be able to obtain the secret aeon.

Besaid Temple - The Besaid Temple is located at the southern end of Spira. There you can obtain the aeon Valefor. It is also the temple where you can gain your first aeon.

Kilika Temple - Here at the Kilika Temple you can gain the fire aeon, Ifrit. The Kilika temple This is the second aeon that Yuna obtains in FFX.

Djose Temple - At the Djose Temple Yuna obtains the lightning aeon, Ixion. This is the third aeon that Yuna aquires in FFX.

Macalania Temple - When you arrive at the Macalania you can obtain Yuna's fourth aeon, Shiva, the ice aeon.

Bevelle Temple - Located at the Bevelle Temple is Yuna's fifth aeon, Bahamut. Bahamut is powerful and has extremly high magic defense. If you are planning on getting the hidden items, make sure you get the one at the Bevelle Temple! If you do not acquire the item, then you will not be able to return to the temple and acquire it!

Cavern of the Stolen Fayth - In the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth you can gain one of the secret aeons, Yojimbo. The Cavern of the Stolen Fayth is located beneath the bridge at the northeast end of the Calm Lands. To learn more about acquiring this aeon, please see the walkthrough.

Baaj Temple - The Baaj Temple is where you fought Geosgaeno. At the bottom of the water, you can enter the temple. There Yuna can obtain Anima, the aeon that has been summonered by Seymour. In order to acquire Anima although, you must have a hidden item from all the temples! If you do not have them all then you cannot acquire Anima. Remiem Temple - The Remiem Temple can be reached by a chocobo at the Calm Lands. There you can defeat Belgemine's aeons and acquire the Magus Sisters, although there is some special requirements to aquire them. To learn more about acquiring this aeons, please see the walkthrough.
