Valefor

Valefor is the first aeon you can acquire at the Besaid Temple. This aeon is weak although it can dodge severval attacks because of its aerial ability.

Special Attack : Sonic Wings

Sonic Wing can delay a enemies next turn and it also inflicts a small amount of damage. Although if you do this repeatedly, you can do Sonic Wings several times and rarely get hurt in a battle.

Overdrive : Energy Ray ; Energy Blast

Valefor's powerful Energy Ray consists of a hot laser beam of light that explodes underneath all enemies. This is a non-elemental attack. You can gain another of Valefor's overdrives by returning to Besaid once Yuna joins the party. Speak to a girl standing next to the temple with her dog and she will give you an item that gives Valefor the Overdrive "Energy Blast". If she isn't there, try looking for her at the item shop. Energy Blast deals greater damage although the you have a higher recovery time.

Once Yuna gains her ultimate weapon (also activated), Nirvana, all of Valefor's attacks can break the 9999 damage limit!
